I made this trip to Uzbekistan in the order of the capital Tashkent, Samarkand, Buhara, Shiva. Among them, Shiva is the best protected ancient city, not only preserves a variety of exotic residential houses, mosques, economic colleges, minaret, military facilities and beautiful palaces and other historical buildings, but also the only complete city wall in several ancient cities in Uzbekistan. 📷 Shiva, with a history of more than 2,000 years, is the earliest ancient city of Central Asia that was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Uzbekistan. It has always been one of the most yearning travel destinations in the minds of travelers, and it is also my favorite ancient city of Central Asia. 🚶🏻 The ancient city of Shiva is relatively not big, and you can walk around every corner of the city wall. There are 16 historical buildings in the ancient city that can buy tickets to enter the visit. After buying a 24-hour pass at the main entrance of the scenic spot, use the pass to enter 15 of the buildings to watch the exhibition. 🎫 Iran poet Balwan Mahmood's mausoleum Mausaleum Paxlavan Makhmud requires an additional fee, about 20 RMB. As a place of pilgrimage for locals, many newlyweds can even be seen shooting wedding photos and wedding celebration videos in the mausoleum. 🕌️ The ancient city is more like a large open-air museum full of life, each historical building is a different theme exhibition. It includes nature, history, geography, architecture, humanities, medicine and other aspects. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to spend a whole day to visit. In addition, Shiva Khan's palace is located outside the ancient city and can be reached on foot. This wonderful palace combines Asian and European art deco styles and is worth a visit. 📷 The most important thing is not to miss the beautiful scenery of Shiva at sunset. In the evening, the bustling crowd disperses. After the small vendors on the roadside withdraw the stalls, put on headphones to listen to the music of the Western Region and stroll on the unmanned road. It seems to be crossing back to the ancient city of silk road, which is prosperous in commerce. 🐫 Traffic Raiders ✈️ The plane can take the Urgenki Airport train to Urgenki Station or Shiva Station Shiva can not take a taxi with yandex. It is recommended to contact the hotel in advance to charter a car or pick up the scenic spot opening time ⏱️ The ancient city gate is open all day Museum and palace opening time: 9:00-18:00 Restaurant recommendation 🍴 There are many restaurants and cafes in the ancient city of Shiva. Among them, the terrace of Terrassa Cafe & Restaurant can see the Kalta Minor minaret, the logo of Shiva. It is the best restaurant in the ancient city. It is recommended to watch the sunset on the terrace in the evening. Accommodation recommendation 🏨 Inside the ancient city Arkanchi Hotel Out of the ancient city New Star Khiva Hotel These two hotels were rebuilt hundreds of years ago by the Economic College. Living in them is a very memorable experience. Among them, the minaret in the New Star Academy can be climbed for free, which is a good place to overlook the panoramic view of Shiva. Due to the limited number of words, other travel notes about Uzbekistan have been posted in other chapters. Welcome to look forward. #Appreciate the historical buildings of the ancient city #My hiking notes #Must see scenery in your lifetime #Museum Wonderful roaming #Come here to see the most beautiful sunset
